These terms apply to the RokuMote Remote iOS application (“the app”). By using the app you agree to them.
The app is a remote control for Roku® devices on your local network, with optional direct connections to compatible smart TVs. All device control uses publicly documented network interfaces; direct TV connections are set up only with your explicit confirmation on the TV screen.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits.
Use the app only with devices you own or are authorized to control. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the device manufacturers and of your network.
The app is currently free. If optional paid features are introduced, their price, billing period, and trial terms will be shown in the app before any purchase, and payments will be handled by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The app is provided “as is”. Device compatibility varies by manufacturer, model, and firmware; we don't guarantee that every feature works with every device. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months.
Support is available in the app (Support 24/7) and at support@rokumote.com.
We may update these terms; the current version is always posted at this address. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept them.
